The Employment Advantage

For many young people the most challenging activity after leaving school can be the job search process.  Whether looking for a first job, undertaking career advancement later in life, or surviving redundancy and periods of recession and low employment, career resilience is all about knowing how to recognize and access appropriate employment opportunities.

the_employment_advantageAlthough job markets go up and down, the fundamental processes for getting a job remains the same.  Style and language may need to be updated but such things as the skills to job match, rules on relevancy and currency and good first impressions remain timeless.

The all online Employment Advantage provides an easy to deliver solution for busy teachers who wish to provide a well researched and effective program to their students.  The program requires students to pass short online questionnaires throughout, module tests and a final exam to ensure they have thoroughly understood the process of finding work.

The Employment Advantage is Endorsed for one unit (5 points) on the WA Certificate of Education through the Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority and it provides the latest skills, knowledge and best practice advice to give each participant a thorough understanding of employer decision making practices and job search processes.
